You lie in our bed sleeping peacefully.
My wish for you is a peaceful sleep.

I hope you feel how much I love you even while you sleep.
May our love bring you peace.
May you wake feeling rested, peaceful, joyful, and loved.

This “blessing” was something I wrote some time ago. I believe it was during a time my husband was going through chemotherapy and not feeling well. I had come across it on our fifth wedding anniversary and posted it at that time.

When we married, we went to the mountains, rented a house and had four other couples stay with us for the weekend in that house. At our recent five year anniversary it happened that we were invited to different mountains to spend the weekend with different new friends. It seemed a very special and fitting coincidence.
